M-appero is a large project that aims to:• develop a sensor system for monitoring suspensions which, through their solicitation, collects significant data not only for the vehicle, but also for the area it passes through.• develop a road assets monitoring system through artificial intelligence algorithms and image analysisThe value of the project lies in the innovative use of the vehicle which from "object in transit" becomes the interpreter of a territory by interacting with it, returning significant data to all potentially interested parties.Through the development of this project there will be several important repercussions for the territory including:• infrastructure managers, in particular road and motorway managers, who will benefit from more accurate and timely management and planning;• insurance companies, which may have significant data available to improve their services and identify, for example, whether the cause of an accident is due to road failure;• citizens, who, once the data have been collected and made available, will be able to benefit from timely and timely reports.
